Experience

Prior to training as a counsellor I worked for many years in an office environment. I also did voluntary work at the Samaritans which led to a desire to study counselling further.
I have worked in a number of professional settings including private practice and the NHS  (patients and staff in a hospital environment). I have run group workshops for patients with terminal cancer using creative art therapies. I have undertaken voluntary work counselling family members of prisoners and have also facilitated group sessions for the same organisation.
